Delegates had a full, fun day at the Causey Farm in Ireland. There was an opportunity to participate in Irish dancing and music. Students toured the farm to see a wide variety of animals. In the kitchen area they made traditional soda bread. Hurling skills were practiced in a pasture before lunch. Then it was off to the bog for a little "bog jumping". I think this was a hit with all the delegates. After they cleaned up, they enjoyed their soda bread. What a fantastic experience.

Warwick Castle Battle
After exploring the castle, delegates were able to see how they were with a sword.
Better connections so we are able to post videos today. Don't know what tomorrow will bring.

July 25
Today was a fun day at the Big Pit museum in the morning. The Big Pit is a museum of a coal mine in Wales. The students had the opportunity to become miners for a bit, hard hats and all they went 15meters down, got to walk around with a professional miner, and see just what it takes to be a coal miner. They were also able to explore the exhibits in the museum including the locker rooms and showers that the miners would have used. It was a very eye opening experience to see a completely different life then one we are used to. :)
